We are currently looking for a Senior mechanical Adjuster NESNA Claims to join our team in Customer Resource Center, Murfreesboro, TN.  Responsible for authorizing claims that are above the authority of Mechanical Claims Adjusters within Nissan Extended Services North America (NESNA). Resolves complex claims issues within authority guidelines. Available as an Adjuster resource throughout the day for questions and provides knowledge transfer to Mechanical Claims Adjusters. Works cross-functionally to solve issues impacting multiple departments, while obtaining a thorough understanding of NESNA. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

A Day in the Life:   

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.

1. Provides dealers with claims pre-approvals and maintains a high claims approval limit.
2. Receives inbound calls and emails from dealers requesting claim approval. Adjudicates claims according to NESNA policies and procedures
3. Reviews and codes suspended claims for payment.
4. Communicate claim disposition & handling decisions via call-outs to dealers when directed
5. Conducts transactions according to NESNA policies and procedures to increase consistency of service to dealers and field personnel and ensure proper use of NESNA funds.
6. Responds to and assists regional personnel with Claims issues related to NESNA.
7. Handles escalated issues/concerns (HOST issues, NNAnet, Dealers & Regions).
8. Responds to urgent internal or customer issues on behalf of Claims Adjuster team when necessary.
9. Mentors Adjusters to achieve their daily commitments, including claims approval decisions, follow-up, dealer call-backs, claims debit calls, documentation requirements. etc.
10. Provides training for new hires and existing agents, along with front-line coaching and feedback.
11. Drives a positive work environment that encourages Adjuster job satisfaction.
12. Able to be tasked with special projects and additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.
13. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Job Knowledge and Skill:
    Large breadth/deep depth in knowledge of NESNA programs, policies & procedures. Demonstrates mechanical acumen and strong proficiency of NESNA Adjuster responsibilities. Strong interpersonal, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills required; able to mentor and coach.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 1 year of experience in NESNA Call Center. 2 years or more previous automotive technical experience at dealership or repair facility preferred.
  • Education:
    Associate’s degree preferred. Will consider equivalent experience, related college or technical courses, seminars and in-house classroom training, and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Technician certification.
  • Computer Skills:
    Thorough knowledge of systems used by NESNA Claims Adjudication, along with Microsoft Office Suite and other related PC applications.
  • Typing Skills:
    Minimum 35 wpm.
  • Ability to perform work onsite at CRC – Murfreesboro, TN.
