This role's schedule is Sunday through Thursday

Our Transportation Specialist:
- Provides transportation for senior residents in a community van, bus or car to medical appointments and other outings.
- Escorts and checks residents in at medical appointments, handling medical document delivery, receipt, and communication as needed.
- When not driving this position participates in resident focused activities.
- Provides assisted transportation for residents in a safe and caring manner. Destinations include medical and dental appointments, banking, post office, weekly outings, shopping for residents and staff and misc. Provides shuttle/courier service as needed. Coordinates transportation by car, bus, or van, scheduling to best meet resident needs for delivery and pick-up from appointments.
- Keeps supervisor informed of daily schedules, changing needs, and functions in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community.
- Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months.
- Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- May require a CDL (Commercial Driver License)
- Possession of a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record is required.
