The Role:
As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of components and materials necessary for Logitech's product development initiatives.
You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing the supply chain to meet Logitech's quality and design standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing, to integrate the components seamlessly into Logitech's product development process. Additionally, you will focus on identifying supply chain risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Your Contribution:
- Identify and qualify suppliers capable of providing the components, materials, and finishes that meet Logitech's specifications and quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain and ensure seamless integration of components into product development.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with Logitech's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks to minimize disruptions and financial impact.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address performance issues.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with supply chain management software/tools.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
