Overview

This 12-month assignment supports the FSQA (Food Safety & Quality assurance) competitive performance assessment of PepsiCo’s core beverage products across the Top International Beverages markets.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to PepsiCo’s Product Superiority programs by leveraging consumer science, product quality, and market performance insights to drive data-informed decisions and strengthen competitive advantage.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor trade performance data and identify, investigate, and escalate out-of-specification trends to local teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product Development teams to track current in-market formulas and maintain product specifications repository to ensure accurate testing and benchmarking.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and scope of work to ensure delivery against program objectives.
  • Create Lab Advantage request for each consumer research and track to its full completion.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Consumer Science scientists to update and deliver the digital Competitive Scorecard.
  • Support financial management of a near $3MM program budget, including purchase order creation, invoice tracking, forecasting, and adherence to financial calendars and processes.

 

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting Supply Chain, R&D, FSQA, or related functions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with experience in data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ideally Power BI.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with budget management preferred; experience with document management systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility with working hours; while alignment with U.S. time zones is not required, occasional meetings may extend to 18:00, with flexibility in start times on those days.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment without direct colleagues or managers at the same location, but in a collegial R&D office.
  • Professionalism and discretion when participating in senior leadership (Director-level and above) meetings, including handling confidential information appropriately.
