Job Description Summary

Quality Inspector

Job Description:

Final and in process inspection of tooling, components, and prototype parts using CMM and various gauges as required.

Ability to program and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software

Ability to read blue prints and understand product specification and requirements

Ability to perform measurements of precision components to ensure specifications are met

Ability to perform general shop math

Ability to measure close tolerances

Completion of customer inspection reports per instructions and requirements

Performs preventive maintenance tasks as needed

Required Skills and Education

High school diploma

Five (5)+ years of experience working in precision manufacturing environment operating measuring quipment

Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software

Experience with Microsoft office
