Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Cash & Trade Term Structure)

Job Purpose This role oversees three areas within National Performance Management and contributes to the analysis of Vietnam business performance. This role provides performance insights and analysis to support strategic and operational decisions of the country GM and country CFO on financial analysis, outcomes, financial trade-offs and performance risks. Key Responsibilities I. Cash Management • Oversee end-to-end cash forecasting and performance management, recognizing this as a critical aspect of Unilever’s performance both locally and globally. This responsibility includes ensuring accurate and timely forecasts, monitoring cash flows, and making adjustments to optimize overall cash position. • Coordinate all elements of cash management in collaboration with nearly every function within the organization. This involves working closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and evaluate Suppliers/Banking ecosystem to develop supplier buying strategies that impact both cost and cash. Additionally, partner with CBD, Accounts Receivable, CDF, and CO teams to effectively manage cash collection, especially in challenging macroeconomic conditions. Collaborate with Business Units and Planners to oversee areas such as inventory and capital expenditure management. • Deliver insightful analysis and provide constructive challenges to support informed business decision-making. This includes interpreting cash flow data, highlighting trends or issues, and recommending actionable solutions to drive optimal outcomes. • Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the cash management process. Take the lead in initiating corrective and improvement actions aimed at achieving and delivering cash targets. • Partner with GA Cash executive to drive benchmarking, good practice sharing, streamline GA cash performance, etc. II. National Performance • Oversee performance in Vietnam in alignment with overall BU Target • Provide macroeconomic and external intelligence vital for shaping national strategies, proactively identifying trends and risks that influence ongoing operations. • Lead comprehensive cross-BU analysis to guide investment decisions, identify priority areas, and develop effective turnaround strategies, supporting sustainable growth and value creation • Manage and deliver impactful presentations for key platforms including Strategy Day, C-level visits, Townhalls, ELT, and Management Conferences, translating complex data into actionable insights and fostering executive alignment on strategic initiatives III. TTS • In charge key control of OTC regarding MEC, TTS Variance Threshold • Target setting for all channels monthly • In charge of key TTS Input matrices to Livewire system Key Stakeholders • Country leadership: GM, CFO • Cross functional team: Procurement, CO, CDB, AR/AP, CDF, BUF, SCF, Marketing, CDE • Regional and Global: GA Cash executive, Global Cash strategy and performance Skills & Experience • Strong finance fundamentals and business partnering capability • Ability to translate data into clear insight and recommendations • Confident communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders • Experience in performance management, financial control, and analysis • High ownership mindset, resilience, and accountability Leadership Expectations Demonstrates Unilever Standards of Leadership, with strong ownership, collaboration, integrity, and passion for high performance.
