Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report concerns promptly. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refining location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, process areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations promptly to supervisors and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
