GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Leasing Consultant in Fresno, CA, to join our dynamic property management team!
In this role, you will manage all day-to-day leasing and marketing activities, including apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals for a 376-unit community featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes. You will provide exceptional customer service to prospects, residents, and clients while supporting the community’s goals of maintaining budgeted occupancy levels and maximizing rental income. The successful candidate will build strong relationships, conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, follow up with prospective residents, and contribute to the overall success of the community through professional, results-driven leasing and marketing efforts.

The position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (summer hours) and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (winter hours), totaling 40 hours per week. The days off are Wednesday and Sunday. The position pays $18.00 per hour, plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, conducting property tours, and converting prospects into residents.
- Prepare lease agreements, process applications, and coordinate move-ins and lease renewals.
- Maintain strong occupancy levels by implementing effective leasing and marketing strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, addressing questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents to promote retention and resident satisfaction.
- Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and outreach to prospective residents to maximize leasing opportunities.
- Maintain accurate resident, prospect, and leasing records in property management software.
- Monitor market trends and competitive properties to support pricing and marketing recommendations.
- Assist with community marketing initiatives, social media engagement, online listings, and outreach events.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the community is presented in excellent condition and ready for showings.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and all applicable regulations.
- Support additional administrative and operational duties as assigned by your Community Manager and Regional Supervisor.

Requirements
Job Requirements
- Previous leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or property management experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, outgoing, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to meet leasing, sales, or performance goals.
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning and using property management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing practices is preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work the required schedule, including Saturdays.
