High Acuity RN/LPN - Home Care - Sat 7a-7p

NurseCore is seeking a highly skilled RN or LPN for a high-acuity home health assignment in NW Las Vegas. This is an adult quadriplegic male patient receiving care in his private home with family involved in his care. The nurse must be well-versed in tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and G-tube care.

Schedule:

• Saturdays, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• First few weeks only: Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM for training and transition into the case

Responsibilities:

• G-tube, ventilator, and tracheostomy management
• Intimate personal care, including bowel program
• Safe patient handling and transfers (bed, wheelchair, vehicle)

Compensation:

• $27 - $40 /hour – LPN
• $40 - $55 /hour – RN

Requirements:

• Recent hands-on experience with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators
• High-acuity home health or similar clinical experience
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex patient care
• Physical strength and stamina for patient care and transfers
• Reliable and calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in a family home environment
• Professional appearance; nails must be kept short for safe patient care

Credential Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license in Nevada
• More than 1-year post grad clinical experience
• Current hands-on CPR certification
• Negative TB test within the past 12 months
• Successful background check clearance
