Description
A Day in Life of an HR Benefits Analyst
As an HR Benefits Analyst, you play a key role in the day-to-day administration and ongoing effectiveness of our employee benefits programs. You serve as a trusted resource for employees, helping them understand their benefits, navigate life events and leaves of absence, resolve coverage and claims issues, and make informed decisions. Whether supporting medical, dental, vision, life, disability, or retirement benefits, you help ensure employees receive accurate, timely, and thoughtful support.
Behind the scenes, you keep our benefits programs running smoothly and accurately. You partner closely with HRIS, Payroll, benefits vendors, and internal teams to support plan setup, enrollments, deductions, billing, and retirement plan funding. You review data, reconcile discrepancies, assist with compliance requirements, and identify opportunities to automate and improve benefits processes. You also play an important role in annual open enrollment, employee communications, and ongoing plan administration.
In this role, you'll bring together strong benefits knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail to help deliver compliant, efficient, and competitive programs. Your work directly contributes to a positive employee experience while supporting the accuracy and effectiveness of our overall benefits operations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
- Support leave of absence administration and coordination
- Improve benefits processes through automation and efficiency initiatives
- Partner with HRIS and Payroll for accurate plan setup, enrollment, and deductions
- Assist with claims resolution, compliance, and monthly plan billing
- Support annual open enrollment and employee benefits communications
- Ensure retirement plans are funded timely and in compliance with applicable requirements
- Travel less than 10%
Experience & Education:
- 4+ years in benefits or employee benefits administration
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal benefits regulations
- Skilled in data analysis and routine calculations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience, preferred
- Bilingual, preferred
