Description
Join Axon and be a Force for Good.
At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Your impact
As Principal Product Manager for DEMS Mobile, you own the product strategy and execution for evidence-capture and DEMS workflows on the Axon App. The immediate job is to finish the Capture → Axon App migration with honesty about what is still left, then keep DEMS mobile workflows compounding on one app instead of a trail of standalone clients. You will work across engineering, design, CSMs, legal, and DEMS platform partners. You will set the bar for junior PMs on the Vietnam mobile team and influence product decisions that span regions.
What you’ll do
Work Location: This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh City office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

- Define and execute product strategy. Own the multi-year vision and roadmap for DEMS workflows on Axon App — capture, evidence collection, and the mobile side of evidence management — aligned with Axon App consolidation, not a second standalone strategy.
- Lead the Capture → Axon App migration. Drive agency migration off Axon Capture (and related standalone capture clients) onto Axon App. Work the CSM motion, Commander-agency edge cases, Mixpanel adoption metrics, and sunset enforcement so deprecation dates are real.
- Lead cross-functional execution. Partner with engineering, design, sales, legal, localization, and operations from concept through launch. Balance scope, reliability, international compliance, and time-to-market.
- Engage customers. Run Voice of Customer through field visits, ride-alongs, usability studies, and data. Prioritize officer workflow over buyer theater.
- Make the numbers inspectable. Own the operating rhythm: monthly Capture-migration MBR, weekly Mixpanel adoption, quarterly release notes, and the metrics that tell us whether migration is actually happening.
- Mentor and influence. Guide other PMs on the mobile team and influence decisions across DEMS, Devices, and GTM without needing a reporting line.
What you bring
- 10+ years of software product management, with a focus on SaaS, mobile, or cloud-based enterprise products.
- Technical fluency in mobile architectures, cloud services, and enterprise security — enough to work credibly with senior engineering and not leave the hard parts “to the team.”
- A track record of end-to-end strategy and execution on high-scale platforms, including migrations or deprecations where customer value depended on getting people off the old thing.
- Data-driven judgment: analytics, A/B testing, and qualitative insight, plus the willingness to decide when the data is incomplete.
- Customer-centric practice — direct engagement with users, not only buyers — and comfort in the field.
- Experience launching or operating international products and navigating compliance across regions.
- Ability to influence from executives to ICs. Travel up to 15% domestic and international.
Preferred: digital evidence, public safety, or legal tech; government/regulatory environments; prior work on capture, media, or evidence workflows.
