About the Role
This role is responsible for performing timely and accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, investigating and resolving reconciling items.Bank Reconciliation Operations
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts across various entities and currencies.
- Investigate and analyse reconciliation breaks, unmatched transactions, and outstanding items.
- Prepare journal entries related to reconciling items where required.
- Monitor aging items and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Validate and reconcile bank statements against general ledger balances.
Month-End & Reporting Support
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in balance sheet account reviews
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives and system enhancements related to bank reconciliation activities.
- Participate in process documentation, standardisation, and continuous improvement projects.
