Description
JOIN A TEAM THAT IS REDEFINING PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
2B Living has built one of the fastest-growing third-party property management platforms in the Bay Area by combining exceptional customer service, strong operating discipline, technology, and an employee-driven culture. We are now preparing for the next stage of growth: expanding our footprint, deepening our presence in existing markets, and building specialized growth strategies across several client segments.
The Growth Manager will work directly with 2B Living’s Growth Leader and sit in the middle of our most important new-business opportunities. This is not a traditional sales coordinator role and it is not an executive assistant position. It is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who can bring structure, judgment and follow-through to a fast-moving growth environment while helping us build the operating system that will support our next several thousand units.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Growth at 2B Living spans multiple business lines: single-family homes, high-net-worth multifamily owners, real estate investors, programmatic clients and commercial property management. Each client type has a different sales motion, different economics and different operating needs. Today, much of that growth runs through one Growth Leader.
The Growth Manager creates leverage around that role. You will make it possible for the Growth Leader to spend more time where the company receives the greatest return — with clients, prospects, brokers, investors, properties and markets — while you make sure the machinery behind those relationships is exceptionally well run.
As the company scales, this role has the potential to become part of a broader Growth organization with increasing ownership over relationships, markets and eventually specific business lines.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
1. Deal Execution & Growth Operations
- Own the operating cadence around active growth opportunities from first serious engagement through signed agreement and handoff.
- Maintain a disciplined, accurate CRM and ensure every meaningful opportunity has clear economics, ownership, next steps, timing and follow-up.
- Coordinate proposals, presentations, financial analyses, underwriting inputs, market information and other materials needed to advance opportunities.
- Keep complex deals moving by coordinating internal stakeholders across operations, accounting, leasing, maintenance, onboarding, legal and leadership.
- Build repeatable templates, workflows and AI-enabled systems that make the Growth function faster, more consistent and more scalable.
2. Client & Relationship Support
- Prepare the Growth Leader for client, broker, investor and partner meetings with concise briefs, background, property information and outstanding commitments.
- Attend important meetings and property tours, capture decisions and commitments, and drive follow-through without requiring repeated direction.
- Maintain relationship maps across owners, brokers, investors, referral partners and newly acquired clients so important relationships do not become episodic.
- Help create a structured post-close relationship program that supports retention, portfolio expansion and referrals.
- Draft and coordinate routine external communications while recognizing which conversations require senior relationship ownership.
3. Market & Growth Intelligence
- Help the Growth Leader evaluate where 2B Living should invest time and resources by market, property type and client segment.
- Organize market intelligence from meetings, tours, brokers, clients and internal data into useful recommendations.
- Track performance across growth channels, including pipeline quality, conversion, source productivity, sales-cycle timing and deal economics.
- Surface patterns and opportunities that help 2B Living decide not only how to grow more, but where the best growth exists.
4. Internal Handoff & Client Continuity
- Ensure signed business enters onboarding with complete context: commitments made, client priorities, property details, economics, risks and key relationships.
- Create cleaner internal handoffs so operating teams can begin relationships with clients from a position of knowledge and trust.
- Help close the gap between “winning the deal” and delivering the experience that was promised during the sales process.
5. Grow Into Greater Ownership
- As you develop the judgment and experience, begin owning selected smaller opportunities from introduction through close.
- Represent 2B Living at broker events, industry gatherings, property tours and other relationship-building opportunities.
- Over time, develop the ability to own a defined segment, market or business line within the broader Growth organization.
WHO YOU ARE
- A Relationship Builder - You are warm, credible and comfortable with owners, executives, brokers, investors and internal teammates. You understand that trust is a commercial advantage.
- An Operator - You naturally bring order to complexity. You do not wait to be told every next step, and people can delegate to you once and trust that the outcome will be handled.
- High Judgment - You know when to act, when to ask, when to escalate and how to operate effectively when there is no perfect playbook.
- Commercially Curious - You want to understand why a deal makes sense, how the client thinks, what drives property economics and where 2B Living should grow next.
- AI- and Tech-Minded - You use technology and AI as leverage. You are not expected to be deeply technical, but you should constantly look for ways to make work faster, smarter and more repeatable.
- A Clear Communicator - You write well, synthesize information quickly and can turn messy inputs into a concise brief, recommendation or next-step plan.
- An Ownership-Minded Teammate - You care about the company result, not just your task list. You follow through, solve problems and row together with the rest of the organization.
- Comfortable in the Field - This is a Bay Area relationship role. You are energized by being in meetings, walking properties, meeting brokers and learning markets firsthand.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of experience in a high-ownership role involving sales operations, client service, business development, account management, real estate, finance, consulting, operations or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex workstreams without losing details or momentum.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong comfort with data, basic financial analysis and business economics.
- Advanced comfort with modern productivity tools, CRM systems, Google Workspace and AI-enabled workflows.
- Bay Area based, with the ability and willingness to travel locally for meetings, events and property tours.
- Real estate or property management experience is helpful, but exceptional judgment, relationship skills and operating ability matter more.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within the first 6 months, a successful Growth Manager will have materially increased the capacity and effectiveness of the Growth team. We should see:
- More Growth Leader time spent externally with clients, prospects, brokers, investors and properties.
- A cleaner, more reliable and more useful growth pipeline.
- Faster and more consistent execution of proposals, follow-up and internal decisions.
- Better continuity from sales through onboarding and ongoing client relationships.
- More structured coverage of referral partners and existing clients.
- A Growth function that is less dependent on one person remembering and personally executing every step.
- Increasing ability for the Growth Manager to independently own meaningful work and selected opportunities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a build-the-function role. The person who succeeds here will not simply inherit a mature playbook — they will help create it. 2B Living is growing aggressively, and our leadership team is deliberately building the capacity, ownership and operating discipline required to grow without compromising service, integrity or culture.
Our ambition is significant: to become the clear leader in property management across our market and build something that has not traditionally existed in this industry — a scaled, high-performing property management company known simultaneously for exceptional service, integrity, talented people and growth. The Growth Manager will be directly in service to that mission.
