Job Title: Technical Coordinator

Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

Salary: Up To £39,800

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service while working on technical projects that help shape vital water infrastructure? We're looking for a Technical Coordinator to support developers, customers, SLPs and NAVs through a range of water network applications and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge, stakeholder management and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

As a Technical Coordinator, you'll act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders, managing applications and providing technical support across a range of developer services activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting customers through application processes for water mains, diversions, Self-Lay and NAV schemes.
• Reviewing and vetting designs and quotations for developer services schemes.
• Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and online portals.
• Liaising with developers, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
• Reviewing capacity checks and ensuring schemes meet industry and company standards.
• Representing Southern Water at meetings with customers and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with regulatory requirements and service level commitments.

What we're looking for

We're seeking someone with:

• Experience in a customer-facing or stakeholder-facing role.
• Knowledge of the Water Industry preferred or other utilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to challenging timescales.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Good IT skills and confidence working across multiple systems.
• A Full Uk driving license

Qualifications  

 

Preferably Educated to HNC/D or Degree level in Civil Engineering or Water based subject
