Description

Partner Veterinary is looking for an Onsite Training Coordinator to join our Frederick, MD team!

Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (PVESC) is a women-founded and led business committed to reimagining a profession that we love. Our leadership team founded Partner Veterinary to create an environment where veterinary professionals are supported, valued, and empowered to make a meaningful difference in the field and for pet families.

Do you want to grow and advance your skills? Partner Veterinary has you covered!

  • We provide our team members with the tools, resources, training, and administrative support to promote an engaging work culture.

To set you up for success,

  • We gift you a *wellness week of PTO after 90 days of employment. This includes 30-40 hours of initial PTO dependent upon your schedule. Partner Veterinary recognizes the demand on veterinary professionals, and this wellness week allows you to rest and relax after you begin your new position with us.

What does your day look like at Partner?

The Onsite Training Coordinator works in conjunction with the Learning and Development department to educate veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants on the hard skills needed to perform their role.  You will also participate in onboarding to acquaint each team member with the layout of the hospital and assist them in understanding PVESC workflows and protocols.

As the Onsite Training Coordinator, you remain current on team members’ training plans by confirming their competencies by signing off on knowledge, skills, and/or abilities that are listed in the training plans.  You will work closely with the Learning and Development team, and any other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure PVESC’s trainees remain on schedule during their training phase.

You are successful in your role due to a commitment to follow up and follow through. You advance in your role with the support of the Learning and Development Department and the ability to apply their feedback and direction.

Your role is based entirely on the floor with minimal administrative needs/tasks.

To ensure every team member receives consistent training, you will instruct our Veterinary Assistants and Credentialed Veterinary Technicians in training in a variety of areas including but not limited to, lab work, animal husbandry, radiology, and patient care.
