Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Project Leader in Geel, Belgium.

The Geel site is the largest chemical production site for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the JnJ supply chain. We ensure that lifesaving medicines reach the patient safely, optimally, competitively, always. Beside production of API's, the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. To accomplish this mission, we keep investing in new technologies, people, and partnerships. Responsibilities:

• Provides project and program leadership for API process equipment across the appropriate stages from inception to completion.
• Establishes alignment with project sponsor and aligns core and extended team to deliver the final project objectives.
• Prepares project intake, including scoping, business case analysis, alternative assessment, presenting the selected option and alternatives for project approval.
• Facilitates the project planning, tracking and reporting against project key deliverables and objectives.
• Oversees project finances: securing accurate budget allocation upon project approval and effectively managing expenses throughout project implementation.
• Uses risk management methodologies to identify and manage risks to project objectives.
• Leads project close out activities including operational handover, archiving, financial project closure, collation of benchmarking information and lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintains awareness of external environment, supplying value and insights.

Who we’re looking for:

• 9+ years of proven experience in leading complex capital projects in a technical environment within chemical and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• You acquired a Master’s degree or equal trough experience. Preferred fields of study are Engineering or Science.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€79,800.00 - €137,770.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
