Classification: Part-Time

Purpose: Provide assistant to the sales staff.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Assistant provides general administrative and operational support to the John Deere Golf Equipment sales team. This entry-level position assists with office duties, equipment presentation, organization, and other tasks that help the sales department operate efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents.
• Enter and update basic customer, equipment, and inventory information as directed.
• Prepare sales packets, brochures, equipment literature, and other materials.
• Help maintain an organized and professional sales office and customer area.
• Assist by answering telephone calls and directing messages when needed.
• Organize equipment manuals, product information, and sales materials.
• Wash and clean golf equipment that has been parked, powered off, cooled, and secured by an authorized employee.
• Wipe down equipment and remove dirt and debris using approved cleaning supplies.
• Help keep the equipment display and designated wash area clean and orderly.
• Take basic equipment photographs for inventory or sales records as directed.
• Assist with labeling, organizing, and tracking equipment.
• Perform errands or deliver materials within the facility as permitted.
• Follow all company safety policies and instructions.
• Perform other non-hazardous administrative and support duties as assigned.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Basic computer and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with employees and customers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach while completing assigned duties.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use approved cleaning products and a water hose while wearing required personal protective equipment.
