Purpose of the Role
AEGIS London is seeking a Delegated Property Underwriter to help provide maternity cover on a 16-18 months basis. It requires a solid understanding of contracts and wordings, the delegated compliance process, RMS modelling output and the ability to analyse Risk Level data in detail. This role will focus on the renewal of existing Canadian contracts and to provide support to the Class Underwriters, as required. As the year progresses there may be a need to offer the same support on the US binder account.
All of this should be combined with experience in various product types, strong broker connections and long-standing dealings with the key clients.
This role would likely suit an experienced Underwriter looking for a short term role within a market leading high performing team or an Assistant Underwriter looking to further their underwriting knowledge and experience in the same setting. We are also open to hearing from profiles who are looking to re-enter the market after a period in retirement or similar.
