Graduate Accountant Programme
At Langham Hall, our Graduate Programme is designed to give ambitious graduates the opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining valuable experience within the fast-paced world of financial services.
From day one, you’ll receive structured training, hands-on experience and dedicated study support towards the ACCA qualification. You’ll develop both your technical accounting knowledge and the professional skills needed to build a successful career in the industry.
As part of the programme, you will:
- Gain practical experience in fund accounting and develop a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
- Work directly with clients, building your communication, relationship-management and professional skills.
- Learn from experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Receive study support towards the ACCA qualification, helping you progress towards becoming a fully qualified accountant.
- Take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow.
Successful graduates will progress into an Assistant Accountant role within a dedicated team, providing a clear opportunity to continue developing your skills and career with Langham Hall.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Below are some of the core skills our graduates will be learning:
- Interaction with the highest profile fund managers and investors in alternative assets
- Accounting for structures and investments in private equity, debt, real estate and infrastructure funds;
- Intensive training from the basics of bookkeeping to construction of complex financial statements and consolidations;
- Technical training on the impact of the latest accounting standards;
- Building financial models based on funds’ legal agreements;
- Managing a range of associated deliverables including compliance reporting, tax and ad hoc accounting projects;
- Learning how to manage a team including delegation and organisational skills; and
- Life skills such as leadership, communication and problem solving.
Technical Knowledge / Skills Required
- Be educated to degree level (2:1 and above) or; AAT level 3 qualified with significant accounts preparation experience
- Strong A-Levels and GCSEs;
- A keen awareness and interest in the alternative investment industry;
- A desire to become a qualified accountant (ACCA);
- Good MS Excel and MS Word skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong numeracy and literacy; and
- Intellectual curiosity.
