As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control and badge activities, respond to alarm-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour

Alarm Panel Experience (B202): familiarity with alarm panel systems allows me to respond effectively to security alerts and manage emergency protocols.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): proficient in utilizing various software and applications, which enhances my ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.

Customer Service Experience (B219): delivering exceptional customer service, understanding that effective communication and problem-solving are key to client satisfaction.

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.

CPR Certification (B205):Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification The certification must be current and not expired at the time of application.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
