Senior Procurement Category Specialist - Third Party Manufacturing (TPM)
The Role
Bega Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Category Specialist to help shape and scale our rapidly growing Third Party Manufacturing (TPM) function within our Retail Sales, Marketing & Partnerships team. Reporting to the Head of Third-Party Manufacturing, you will lead a portfolio of external manufacturing partners, driving commercial outcomes, supplier performance and continuity of supply across a dynamic and growing business. You will take ownership of complex sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and contract management while supporting innovation, new product development and capability expansion across our TPM network.
Working closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Supply, Quality, R&D, Legal and Finance, you will play a key role in identifying value creation opportunities, managing risk and ensuring suppliers deliver against quality, service and commercial expectations. This role requires strong commercial acumen, influencing skills and supplier management expertise, with the ability to operate independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead sourcing and management of a complex TPM portfolio to deliver quality, cost, service and strategic capability outcomes
Own supplier contracts and commercial negotiations, driving accountability to agreed obligations, KPIs and business objectives
Develop sourcing recommendations through analysis of market trends, supplier performance, risk and commercial opportunities
Lead supplier reviews, governance forums and stakeholder engagement activities to support effective decision-making
Manage supplier escalations, performance improvement initiatives, contract renewals and key TPM projects
About You
Significant experience within FMCG, procurement, TPM/co-manufacturing, account management or related commercial environments
Strong negotiation and influencing capability, with a track record of delivering positive commercial outcomes
Commercially and financially astute, able to identify risks, opportunities and value creation initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels internally and externally
A proven ability to analyse complex information, manage competing priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments
