About the Role

As an Enrolled Practice Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care within a busy and collaborative General Practice environment. Working closely with GPs, Registered Nurses, and allied health professionals, you will assist with a range of clinical and administrative duties while contributing to positive patient experiences and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care within your scope of practice.
• Assist with patient assessments, observations, and routine clinical procedures.
• Perform wound care, dressings, ECGs, and other treatment room procedures.
• Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications as authorised and in accordance with practice protocols.
• Support chronic disease management programs, care plans, health assessments, and recall activities.
• Assist with health screenings and preventative health initiatives.
• Provide patient education and support to encourage positive health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, medical equipment, and clinical stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, accreditation, and clinical governance requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with GPs, Registered Nurses, and the broader healthcare team.

What You'll Need

• Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Medication Endorsement (highly regarded).
• Previous experience in a General Practice, Primary Care, Community Health, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with immunisations, wound management, health assessments, and chronic disease management is highly regarded.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
• A proactive approach with strong organisational and time-management skills.
