Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller (SAP) to oversee inventory accuracy and ensure proper inventory control across restaurant branches, commissaries, and warehouses. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory transactions, conducting inventory reconciliations, supporting physical inventory counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records in SAP.
The ideal candidate has experience in inventory control within the restaurant, food manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or distribution industry, with strong knowledge of SAP, inventory processes, and stock movement controls.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily inventory transactions, including receiving, stock transfers, production issuances, adjustments, returns, and disposals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate inventory postings in SAP ERP while maintaining data integrity.
  • Perform inventory reconciliation between physical inventory and SAP records.
  • Investigate inventory variances, stock discrepancies, and transaction errors, coordinating with Operations and Warehouse teams for resolution.
  • Assist in conducting cycle counts, monthly inventory counts, and annual physical inventories.
  • Monitor inventory movement and ensure compliance with inventory policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper implementation of FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Prepare inventory variance reports, reconciliation reports, and inventory movement analyses.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Commissary, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams to resolve inventory-related concerns.
  • Maintain complete and accurate inventory documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct occasional store and warehouse visits to validate inventory compliance and operational controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, inventory audit, or supply chain.
  • Experience in the restaurant, food manufacturing, FMCG, retail, distribution, or warehouse industry is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP ERP (SAP Business One is an advantage) or other inventory management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory reconciliation, stock movement monitoring, inventory adjustments, and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting physical inventory counts and inventory audits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel to restaurant branches, commissaries, and warehouse locations when required.
