- Plan and coordinate KCC events, webinars and networking formats, including invitations, registrations, logistics, speaker support and follow-up communications
- Oversee event communications and materials, including signage, photography, video and supplier coordination
- Support KCC activities at the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC), coordinating communications, speakers, partners and related events
- Manage communications projects efficiently across Program Lines, partners and service providers, with clear timelines and streamlined feedback and approval processes
- Maintain the External Communications Milestones Plan and translate strategic priorities into practical deliverables in close coordination with the Strategic Communications Manager
You‘re good at

- Writing clear, concise, and appealing stories, including complex technical or research-related topics
- Managing complex, scientifically ambitious projects with multiple stakeholders, precision, and clear coordination
- Creating effective graphics and multimedia content and working with TYPO3, Canva, and related digital tools
- Organizing both in-person as well as virtual events, juggling parallel deadlines, and keeping stakeholders aligned without unnecessary email traffic
- Finding creative solutions, improving existing processes, and combining attention to detail with a practical can-do attitude
- Working independently and collaboratively across functions and cultures in a fast-moving organization
You bring
- At least 4–6 years of relevant experience in communications, social media, content creation, project management, event coordination, or a similar hands-on role in a related professional area
- A degree in communications, marketing, media, public relations, event management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience producing and managing professional social media content, ideally with a strong LinkedIn focus and experience in organic audience growth
- Practical experience with content management systems (at least TYPO3) and visual content creation tools (such as Canva) as well as Google & LinkedIn Analytics
- Experience coordinating events, webinars, or speaker engagements from planning to execution
- An eye for video, photography, design, and high-quality communications materials
- Strong organizational and project management skills and excellent written and spoken English and German
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for a startup-like environment with evolving priorities
- Interest in climate action, sustainability, and logistics; international or non-profit experience is an advantage
- Fluent English and German language skills
