Invoice Verification Specialist

Description

Join Ball Horticultural Company as an Invoice Verification Specialist and contribute to a business that supports professional growers with innovative plants, extensive experience, best-in-class customer service, and reliable supply. In this detail-focused role, you will process invoices from third-party suppliers and resolve discrepancies to support accurate and efficient invoice management.

You will collaborate closely with suppliers and our internal supply chain team to coordinate supplier invoice processes. This position offers the opportunity to apply your attention to detail and problem-solving skills while supporting effective working relationships across the supply chain.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Process supplier invoices accurately and within established payment terms to support a positive experience for customers and suppliers.
• Investigate and resolve cost discrepancies to ensure invoice accuracy.
• Review and clear monthly unbilled reports and supplier statements to ensure timely invoice processing.
• Cross-train with the Claims team to support cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
• Proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to approach new opportunities and challenging tasks with initiative, enthusiasm, and a sense of urgency.
• Commitment to personal accountability and holding others accountable for meeting commitments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to sit/stand 100% of the day
• Ability to use hands/fingers 100% of the day

Pay Range: $22-$24 per hour
