Rural Carrier Associate (USPS) - 21.89 per hour - Kansas City, MO

Strategic Workforce Development (SWD) is helping the United States Postal Service hire Rural Carrier Associates (RCAs) for Kansas City, MO post offices.

PAY AND SCHEDULE
Pay: $21.89 per hour
Part-time, non-career position that may lead to a full-time career position
Hours vary and include holidays and weekends; there is no guarantee of hours, and schedules can change with little notice
Benefits may include health insurance

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Case, deliver and collect mail along a set rural route using a vehicle
• Provide customers on the route with a variety of postal services
• Keep the mail secure at all times and follow safe work methods
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather

WHAT YOU NEED

• A valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
• At least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger in the U.S. (or its territories or U.S. military installations)
• Ability to deliver from the right-hand side of the vehicle
• You may need to provide your own vehicle if one is not assigned (an Equipment Maintenance Allowance is paid)
• Physically able to lift moderate to heavy loads, carry, stand, reach and walk for long periods
