The Opportunity:

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to guide teams as they solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As a Strategic Planner, you’ll bring your joint planning, component‑level strategic planning, bilateral integration, space operations integration, and theater‑level campaign development expertise to work alongside thought leaders in operational planning, mission analytics, Indo‑Pacific strategy, and space domain integration on projects for Space Force, Japan, the U.S., and Japan Alliance mission enterprise. You’ll use your skills and expertise as you develop, assess, synchronize, and refine theater‑level plans and bilateral planning frameworks for the Indo‑Pacific defense mission.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience developing or executing Joint Planning including JOPP or APEX, bilateral and multinational planning, component‑level strategic planning, or space planning
• Experience of supporting business growth within your task, market, or functional domain
• Knowledge of Indo‑Pacific theater structures, joint planning processes, and operational design
• Ability to develop campaign, posture, and contingency plans and integrate domain‑specific effects into joint frameworks
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Government of Japan decision‑making processes, JSDF counterparts, and U.S. and Japan Alliance management
• Experience integrating Space, Cyber, Intel, or Fires effects into joint plans
• Knowledge of USSF, USSPACECOM, and Space Operations Center functions
• Master's degree in strategic studies, international relations, or space policy

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
