The Role

An established and growing commercial contractor is preparing to expand into Northeast Florida and is seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven leader to launch and lead its Jacksonville-area operation. This is much more than managing an existing branch. You will have the opportunity to establish the operation, develop its local presence, build a team, cultivate customer relationships, and drive the company's growth throughout Northeast Florida. Backed by an experienced ownership team, strong company resources, and an established construction operation, you will have the support and autonomy to build a successful regional business.

Jacksonville / Northeast Florida.

Core Responsibilities

• Launch Leadership: Lead the launch and development of the Northeast Florida operation.
• Business Development: Establish and grow relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial construction partners.
• Pipeline Growth: Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong project pipeline.
• Team Building: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
• Partner Relations: Build relationships with local suppliers, subcontractors, and workforce resources.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee business development, estimating, project management, and operational execution.
• Financial Performance: Manage financial performance, profitability, and overall market growth.
• Office Setup: Establish the local office and help shape its long-term direction.
• Strategic Growth: Work closely with company ownership on strategic growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Industry Experience: Significant experience in commercial contracting.
• Executive Leadership: Previous leadership experience as a General Manager, Division Manager, Branch Manager, President, or similar senior executive.
• Market Relationships: Established relationships within the Jacksonville / Northeast Florida commercial construction market.
• Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of local general contractors, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and labor resources.
• Growth Ability: Demonstrated business development and revenue growth capabilities.
• Team Leadership: Experience recruiting, building, and leading teams.
• Management Skills: Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: An entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to take ownership.

Target Pay: Approximately $250,000.
