About BreachLock
BreachLock is a global cybersecurity company that provides penetration testing and offensive security services. Our IT function is growing quickly, and we are looking for a Systems Administrator to own and mature our internal IT environment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for administering, securing and governing BreachLock’s internal systems. You will learn our environment end to end, define how it should be run, and turn that into clear policies, standards and automation. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, learns new platforms quickly and likes building structure where it is needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Systems Administration
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID: users, groups, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Manage single sign-on (SSO) and user provisioning (SAML, OIDC, SCIM) for business applications such as GitLab, Atlassian, VPN and cloud platforms.
• Support identity and access administration in Google Cloud, Azure and AWS.
• Manage endpoints and the IT asset inventory, including device standardisation and enrolment.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, alerts and usage reports.
2. Email & Collaboration
• Configure and troubleshoot Outlook (desktop, web and mobile), shared mailboxes, calendar sync and mailbox migrations.
• Manage Exchange Online mail flow rules, spam filtering and email security policies.
3. Onboarding & Offboarding
• Run the full joiner/mover/leaver process: accounts, licences, devices, application access, licence reclamation and data archival.
• Conduct IT orientation for new employees.
4. Policy & Governance
• Draft, maintain and enforce IT policies and standards, including access control, joiner/mover/leaver, MFA and passwords, acceptable use, device management, external/guest access and data retention.
• Ensure each policy is backed by technical controls, scheduled reviews or reporting.
• Maintain role-based access definitions and run periodic access reviews.
• Manage privileged access and secrets: admin account separation, secure credential storage and self-service password reset.
• Support internal and external audits, compliance evidence and customer security questionnaires.
5. Service Desk & Troubleshooting
• Provide support for Windows and macOS, covering hardware, software and network issues.
• Run the IT service desk on Freshdesk: meet SLAs, perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and maintain the knowledge base.
6. Automation & Continuous Improvement
• Automate routine administrative tasks with PowerShell (Microsoft Graph, Exchange Online) and other scripting tools.
• Build safe, auditable automation with testing, logging and scheduling.
• Evaluate new tools and changes, and recommend solutions that fit BreachLock’s environment.
7. Documentation
• Keep accurate documentation of systems, configurations, runbooks and procedures.
• Maintain an up-to-date map of BreachLock’s systems, their owners and how access is granted.
