Account Manager
Position Description
The Account Manager will play a key role in supporting accounts requiring a diverse range of communication infrastructure services. The successful candidate will cultivate extensive relationships at the C-level, driving sales of Connectivity, Colocation, Cloud, and infrastructure services to established and greenfield accounts within financial services, legal, consulting, and non-healthcare insurance sectors.
This role involves achieving sales and revenue growth targets through effective account management, hunting activities, and meeting set goals by the leadership team. The ideal candidate excels in working on large, complex deals, applying a consultative and trusted advisor approach.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales revenue by actively promoting Zayo products to existing and greenfield accounts in designated verticals.
- Present proposals and guide customers through the sales process.
- Achieve high Net Promoter Scores through excellent customer support.
- Maintain and secure existing revenue on long-term commitments while identifying new opportunities.
- Apply industry knowledge to achieve revenue objectives.
- Identify, initiate contact with, and qualify potential customers.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance using Salesforce.
- Develop accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities.
- Provide timely information to management.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and meet revenue objectives.
Qualifications
- Business level French and English
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of solution selling experience in large-scale ICT accounts.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Proven success in achieving sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of Zayo Networks' value proposition and services.
