Position Summary

Safely deliver, place, and assemble Ashley Home Furniture in customers' homes while protecting the product and property. This role is responsible for accurate deliveries, efficient route execution, and a professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Installation

• Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture according to the daily route
• Carry furniture into customer-designated rooms and assemble items as required
• Verify product and delivery instructions before beginning each stop
• Remove packaging and leave the work area clean when required

Customer Experience & Quality

• Treat customers and their homes with professionalism and care
• Inspect furniture for visible damage and document exceptions
• Complete a final customer walkthrough and confirm delivery details
• Minimize damage, missed deliveries, and return visits

Productivity & Route Execution

• Arrive prepared and complete assigned stops efficiently
• Coordinate with the delivery partner on safe lifting and placement
• Maintain accurate delivery status, photos, and proof of delivery
• Communicate route delays, access restrictions, and product discrepancies promptly

Safety & Equipment

• Follow safe driving, lifting, and furniture-handling procedures
• Use proper protective equipment and material-handling tools
• Inspect the truck and equipment before use
• Report incidents, property damage, and injuries immediately

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time delivery and stop completion
• Customer satisfaction
• Product and property damage claims
• Successful first-attempt delivery / return visits
• Safety incidents and documentation accuracy

Qualifications

• Furniture delivery, moving, assembly, or installation experience preferred
• Ability to perform repeated physical lifting and work as part of a two-person crew
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if assigned to drive
• Ability to follow route instructions and use mobile delivery applications
