Position Summary

 

The Community Engagement & Marketing Specialist will execute localized events while owning key components of social media management, content creation, and brand awareness initiatives.

This role is ideal for branding and events professionals who enjoy community engagement, event execution, and social media marketing; can take ideas, build upon them independently, and help drive measurable business results. The role will partner closely with local leadership teams to build brand awareness, strengthen community relationships, and increase local market visibility.

 

This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel throughout the region, including 2-3 days per week in local markets, along with occasional evenings and weekends to support community events, sponsorships, and brand activations.

What You'll Do

Brand & Local Marketing Support

• Assist with local promotions, partnerships, and brand-building initiatives
• Coordinate marketing assets and materials to support campaigns and market needs
• Identify opportunities to increase local market visibility and customer engagement
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing efforts

Community Engagement & Events

• Execute local community events, sponsorship activations, trade shows, and partnership opportunities
• Build relationships with local organizations, schools, community groups, and event partners
• Represent company brands at local events and community functions
• Identify opportunities to strengthen each brand's presence within its local market

Digital & Social Media Marketing

• Manage social media planning, content creation, publishing, and engagement
• Create compelling, on-brand content using Canva and other marketing tools
• Maintain content calendars and optimize posting schedules using platforms such as Sprout Social
• Leverage digital channels to increase awareness, engagement, and lead generation

Marketing Execution

• Execute local marketing initiatives across traditional and digital channels
• Develop and implement localized marketing campaigns
• Support customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness efforts

Content & Campaign Development

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
• Create content aligned with brand standards and campaign objectives
• Support website updates and digital presence management
• Maintain consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business priorities and marketing initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional marketing experience
• Experience creating and executing local community engagement events to build awareness for brands within their markets
• Experience with social media marketing and content creation
• Understanding of launching, running, and measuring digital marketing channels (SEO, paid media, email marketing, etc.)
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and campaign execution
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
• Home services or skilled trades industry experience is a plus, but not required
