Description

Inspect purchased parts and/or completed cooling packages to ensure blueprint specifications match using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other tools. If a part is defective, return it to the appropriate department for repair.

Minimum Qualifications / Calificaciones Mínimas

1. One year of experience in manufacturing. Un año de experiencia en manufactura.
2. Quality experience preferred.

1. Ability to read and understand detailed blueprints.

2. Ability to use basic computer programs and Microsoft Office.

3. Must have basic math skills and be able to use measuring tools.

4. Must have great attention to detail.

Essential Functions / Funciones Esenciales

1. Read and interpret work orders and blueprints; locate and use FARO or Keyence Laser programs to verify measurements.
   Leer e interpretar órdenes de trabajo y planos; localizar y usar programas de FARO o Keyence Laser para verificar medidas.
   
2. If FARO Arm or Keyence Laser are not used, utilize manual tools for measurement.
   Si no se utiliza el brazo FARO o el láser Keyence, usar herramientas manuales para medir.
   
3. Operate the FARO arm or Keyence Laser; if the part meets all print specs, stamp the part, document, and save data.

4. Move accepted parts to the next step in the process.
   Transportar piezas aceptadas al siguiente paso del proceso.
   
5. Fill out a Nonconformance tag if defects are found; return the part to the correct department or Supervisor.

6. Report issues to the Supervisor or appropriate personnel as needed.

7. Regular attendance is required. Refer to AKG's attendance policy in the Employee Handbook.

Physical Demands / Demandas Físicas

1. Must be able to stand 100% of the time. May also need to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist, and turn.

2. Must be able to use a ladder (up to 20% of the time).

4. Must be able to use a pallet jack and chain hoist.

5. Must wear safety gear: steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. (Glasses and hearing protection provided.)
