Toyota of York is looking for a motivated Customer Engagement Specialist to join our growing sales team! In this high-impact role, you’ll connect with prospective customers through phone and digital channels, build meaningful relationships, generate sales opportunities, and help turn online inquiries into showroom visits and vehicle sales.

**This job is an ON SITE position**

Salary: Up to $40K- $60K annually including monthly bonuses

Schedule: 5 day workweek Monday-Saturday. Every other Saturday, with a day off during the week.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling online customer inquiries, following up with potential buyers, scheduling appointments, and assisting customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process. Build strong customer relationships through phone, email, text, and online communication while identifying customer needs and providing personalized vehicle recommendations. Work closely with the sales team to generate leads, increase appointments, and help achieve monthly sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Communicates effectively with Internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, text, e-mail, or in person.

· Maintains knowledge of all dealership products and services.

· Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet.

· Understands the needs of Internet customers and works with them accordingly to draw them into the store for proper vehicle demonstration and to close the transaction.

· Checks e-mail frequently and responds to inquiries immediately.

· Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly.

· Notifies customers their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate sales personnel for prompt attention.

· Handles all Internet sales inquiries personally.

· Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.

· Comprehensive knowledge of and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.

· Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.

· Works with other Toyota dealerships coordinating dealer trades to meet customer requests.

· Contacts dealer trade drivers and coordinates assignment of dealer trade driver’s according to dealership needs.

· Continually learning new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.

· Maintains professional appearance.

Requirements

· One year minimum previous internet sales experience preferred.

· Automotive sales license required or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Ability to sit at a desk and use computer for majority of shift
