As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
- Communicate observations and incidents promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate emergency personnel as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
