POSITION SUMMARY
Meet, supply, and manage BorgWarner's indirect material requirements for either a product or service through effective negotiations

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain an optimal stock level of restock able materials, to avoid line stoppages due to lack of material.
• Respond to indirect material or services requests from all departments in BorgWarner Ramos Arizpe.
• Accurate follow up to purchasing process through periodic reviews of expiration dates of Purchasing Orders placed.
• Look for relocalization on all MRO stock items to get the best price and conditions with same quality.
• Accurate follow up to Contractors and services issues on Contracts or negotiations.
• Negotiate and manage CAPEX requests in the plant.
• Follow up actions to achieve KPI’s and saving objectives of the Business Unit
• Negotiation and management of long-term agreements with MRO Suppliers.
• Give support in the activities necessary for the accomplishment of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
