We are seeking passionate and experienced Adjunct Instructors to teach in our new Calgary Trades and Technologies Collegiate. This innovative program provides high school students with structured pathways into skilled trades and technology careers through immersive, hands-on learning experiences on SAIT's campus. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring the next generation of skilled trades professionals by delivering engaging, industry-informed learning experiences in a purpose-built trades learning environment.

Instructors will teach high school students in trades related to the construction industry, including both restricted and unrestricted trades and instruction will focus on introducing students to foundational trade concepts through hands-on, project-based learning activities.

 

We need instructors in the following trades areas:

  • Electrical: Conduit runs, junction boxes, outlets, switches, and a functional breaker system
  • Plumbing: Supply and drain lines, fixtures, and fittings
  • HVAC: Ductwork, registers, and mock thermostats
  • Drywall: Hanging, taping, mudding, and sanding sheetrock
  • Finishing Carpentry: Installing trim, molding, and casing
