Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, bank policies, operational procedures, and sales conduct standards relevant to the role.
- Understand and adhere to all risk management regulations, internal policies, and procedures applicable to the position, while fulfilling responsibilities for risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and control within the Bank's risk management framework.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis of corporate customers by reviewing business operations, industry developments, financial performance, cash flow generation, and repayment capacity to assess overall creditworthiness.
- Evaluate collateral and other credit enhancement measures, including collateral market value, security structure, and risk mitigation effectiveness, as well as parent company support, management quality, and corporate strategy.
- Maintain sound knowledge of the Bank's corporate banking products and credit services, identify potential risks, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to analyze customer information, perform due diligence reviews, and prepare high-quality credit applications, credit assessment reports, and approval memoranda.
- Review and monitor new and existing credit facilities to ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies, approval conditions, and operational procedures.
- Identify early warning signals of potential credit deterioration or problem loans and recommend appropriate remedial actions and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide professional recommendations on credit applications, facility structures, and approval decisions within delegated authority limits.
- Maintain effective collaboration with Relationship Managers to support client relationship management and deliver high-quality professional services to customers.
- Share market intelligence, industry insights, technical expertise, best practices, and relevant experience with team members to enhance overall team capability.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
