Position: Production Worker
Pay: $21.50
Shift: 8hr shifts (swings or 3rd) has to be willing to work 3rd shift

While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Production Worker for our swing and 3rd shift, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing
Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery
Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
Assists other departments as needed
This position is located at our tubes and cores manufacturing facility in Newport, TN.
