About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile App Developer with deep expertise in React Native to lead the design and development of high‑quality mobile applications. In this role, you will partner directly with business stakeholders and cross‑functional engineering teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, high‑performance mobile solutions.

While React Native is the primary framework, strong familiarity with Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android) is a plus and will help drive native integrations, architectural decisions, and advanced troubleshooting.

This is a highly visible role where you will influence standards, mentor teammates, and contribute to the evolution of our mobile platform.

What You’ll Do

• Lead development and enhancement of mobile applications using React Native, setting standards for code quality, architecture, and best practices.

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, shape technical requirements, and drive feature planning.

• Partner with backend and infrastructure engineering teams to design robust, scalable API integrations and end‑to‑end workflows.

• Break down complex problems into well‑structured solutions and guide the team through implementation.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring long‑term sustainability and performance.

• Own the mobile application lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, releases, monitoring, and optimization.

• Troubleshoot and resolve high‑complexity issues across platforms, devices, and OS versions.

• Conduct and lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and champion engineering excellence.

• Support release management, including deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, automation, and app performance.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React/React Native patterns (Redux, Context API, Hooks, navigation frameworks).

• Proven experience working directly with business teams to define requirements and deliver high‑impact features.

• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization).

• Deep experience with REST APIs, authentication flows, and state management at scale.

• Proficiency with debugging tools, performance profiling, and crash resolution.

• Experience with mobile build tools, CI pipelines, and version control best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence technical direction, and mentor other engineers.

Nice to Have:

• Native iOS development using Swift.

• Native Android development using Kotlin.

• Experience building or maintaining React Native native modules.

• Familiarity with analytics, push notifications, deep linking, and mobile security practices.

• Experience with Firebase, feature flags, A/B testing platforms, or mobile DevOps pipelines.
