Mechanical (Rotary) System Engineer

As part of InnoTech, the AL Maritime activity connects a wide range of global markets to essential molecules across borders and oceans. Air Liquide Maritime is organized along four business units, namely Offshore Energies, Cryogenic Supply, Global Rare Gases and Global Helium, and is also supporting OCEOS, a joint venture to offer CO2 shipping and barging services for CCS projects across Europe. The organisation has grown significantly over the last few years and regroups 10 sites located in 9 countries with more than 200 employees.

Air Liquide Maritime Sdn Bhd specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

Within the framework of project execution environment, execute & deliver the assigned Rotating Packages - within contractual requirements, quality, schedule and overall cost effectiveness - in order to meet the overall Project objectives / targets

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Provide Technical specifications for rotating equipment/package 2. Perform the Technical Bid Evaluation & given Technical recommendation for rotating equipment/package 3. Set-up the purchase technical specifications for rotating equipment/package 4. Ensure the Vendor document review/approval for rotating equipment/package 5. Performs Equipment inspections at Vendor's site as per requirement at the request of inspection department 6. Provide support and inputs in proposal development, by providing Equipment technical solutions 7. Provide Site assistance to reply to Site queries 8. Coordinate and collaborate with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning

Are you a MATCH?

1) Engineering Degree (Bachelor's) 2) 7+ years of experience 3) Experience in large machinery and Familiarity with international & national standards is a must 4) Scope = Compressors (Including auxiliaries such as air inlet filter, lube oil system,Silencer, Heat exchanger, gas seal, etc..), Turbine, Pumps (Cryo & Water), Cooling Tower, Water treatment
