We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Box Truck Driver / Shipping & Logistics Associate to join our team. This role is much more than driving—it combines transportation, customer service, shipping, receiving, inventory support, and general warehouse responsibilities. Every delivery represents Blue Core, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job the right way.

Primary Responsibilities

Transportation & Customer Service

• Safely operate a company box truck to deliver products throughout the Southeast
• Represent Blue Core professionally while providing outstanding customer service during every delivery
• Communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues with customers and management
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and well maintained
• Follow all applicable transportation, safety, and company policies

Shipping & Warehouse

• Assist with loading and unloading the truck at both Blue Core and customer locations
• Secure products properly to prevent damage during transportation
• Learn Blue Core's products and part numbering system to accurately identify, verify, and load shipments
• Inspect every shipment to ensure it is complete, accurate, and damage-free before it leaves our facility
• Assist with receiving materials and organizing inventory
• Help prepare shipments for delivery and freight carriers
• Support warehouse organization and general production needs when not on deliveries

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous box truck or commercial delivery experience preferred 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to learn products and part numbering system 
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available if needed)
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Schedule & Expectations 

This position requires flexibility to meet customer delivery schedules and operational needs. Candidates should be willing to:

• Maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime as needed to meet customer delivery requirements
• Understand that some delivery days may not return to the plant until approximately 7:00 PM or later
• Be dependable and committed to completing deliveries safely and professionally
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse or production operation when deliveries are complete

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• Push, pull, load, and unload materials throughout the workday
• Sit and operate a delivery vehicle for extended periods while making deliveries
• Climb in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times throughout the day
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the shift
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Customers receive every order on time and in excellent condition
• Deliveries are accurate, complete, and professionally presented
• Products are handled with care and arrive damage-free
• The delivery truck is kept clean, organized, and well maintained
• A strong working knowledge of Blue Core products and part numbers is demonstrated
• Team members and customers know they can rely on you
• Safety procedures are followed, and deliveries are completed without preventable incidents
