Join Our Team as a Part-Time Landfill Attendant in Yellowhead County, AB!
GFL Environmental is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Landfill Attendant to join our team in Cadomin, AB! If you enjoy working outdoors, keeping sites clean, and assisting customers, this is the role for you.
This position has paid travel – Compensation for travel between sites within 30km, including gas and mileage.
What You’ll Do:
- Direct users to proper dumping areas and record disposal details.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the landfill site and facilities.
- Assist in transferring and sorting waste and recyclables.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering waste and recycling inquiries.
- Handle cash transactions as required.
What You Bring:
Experience – Landfill experience is an asset.
License – Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Knowledge – Familiarity with hazardous substances and dangerous waste handling.
Physical Ability – Capable of lifting at least 30 lbs.
Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written abilities.
