Management Level:
P4Summary: This team member collaborates and works closely with team members across the enterprise and is expected to analyze, interpret and communicate business findings based on data. Also is responsible for providing the different Tyson business units with tactical on-site support during business process or organization changes. This role is also responsible for developing documentation to support the development and execution of process flows and sustainable training. • Supporting the Category Management and Strategic Sourcing functional areas in the build and analysis of category activities • Support continuous process improvement and cost reduction • Provide analysis and support for better business decision-making • Analyze, interpret and communicate data insights and recommendations to identify potential opportunities for savings • Provides a broad understanding of business acumen, processes and critical thinking skills to ensure this position's success. • Work closely with key business leaders and users to implement and influence strategic objectives and support current functionality • Provide documentation and analysis of systems, polices, procedures and best practice scenarios • Manage projects as assigned to ensure compliance to policy and best practice procedures • Present KPIs to proper business groups for evaluation Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience:3+ years’ experience in Procurement or a related field Predictive and Prescriptive analysis education and experience preferred Supervisory: Demonstrated ability to influence without positional authority
The Senior Analyst – Procurement, Indirect Material Master Data serves as the subject matter expert for indirect material master data processes, ensuring data integrity, supporting plant operations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across SAP and related systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Train and assist Tyson plants/locations for data analysis, data corrections such as: Duplicate materials, missing critical agents, valuation class errors, UOM discrepancies, manufacturer/supplier inconsistencies. Execute cleanup initiatives.
· Creation and/or updating SAP Material Master Records, via MRS system or Mass Creation Spreadsheets.
· Responsible for mass data changes for Program Suppliers, including manufacturer or MPN updates, blocking obsolescence materials and adding alternate UOM’s to materials on contract.
· Collaborate with key business leaders and IT for data conversion processes functionality.
· Create proper documentation as required by the business to aid in the development and implementation of process flows.
· Participate and/or collaborate in cross-functional projects involving Procurement, IT, Supply Chain, and Operations
· Analyze and identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
· Provide management support as necessary to business units with their indirect material management issues.
· Review and approve ARS-Indirect Material Roles through company system.
· Acting as a Data Steward for material data management rules to ensure quality and integrity of SAP and Fresh Meats system data.
· Provide daily support to: Maintenance teams, plant personnel, Procurement teams, Engineers and Category Managers.
Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Experience: 3+ years’ experience in data management and/or procurement with a history of analyzing processes to address manual or new processes desired, SAP functional and technical experience preferred, Background in Manufacturing preferred
· Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft office tools is required
· Communication Skills: Advanced communication skills including verbal listening and presentation skills, Ability to create written documentation reports and presentations
· Special Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to observe and understand processes
· Supervisory: Demonstrated ability to influence without positional authority
· Travel: 8 or more domestic trips per year. Amount of travel will be influenced by project requirements and where the user community is located.
