JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CNC OPERATOR in WELLFORD, SC. Our client is a SUCCESSFUL TOOL COMPANY. The CNC OPERATOR is responsible FOR SETTING UP AND OPERATING ALL MACHINES IN THE CNC MILLING MACHINE SHOP TO PRODUCE PARTS NEEDED ACCORDING TO SPECS..

Requires 2+ years’ experience operating CNC milling machines such as HAAS, OKK, etc

Schedule: 2nd Shift: 3pm-1am w/1 hour lunch

JOB SUMMARY:

Set up and operate all machines in the CNC milling machine shop to produce parts needed according to specs

Requires 2+ years’ experience operating CNC milling machines such as HAAS, OKK, etc

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accurate and efficient operation of CNC milling machines
• Maintain conscious attention to quality and efficiency in output of product
• Assist with setups – loading tools, loading fixtures, touch off tools
• Must be proficient with calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and Maintain all machines
• Daily PM schedule
• Clean work station at the end of the work day

SAFETY / HOUSEKEEPING

• Always work in a safe manner and ensure co-workers do the same
• Operate forklift in a safe manner as learned in forklift training course
• Use all safety attire/equipment as needed to complete the job
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including floor space, shelving and work stations
• Before leaving each day, ensure all tools are unplugged
• Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, working condition
• Report any defective tools or equipment to the CNC Supervisor for repair or replacement
