Description
At ING COO Finance we are looking for a Consultant with passion for Finance & Risk who is enthusiastic, passionate and has a solid financial background, and a service delivery & hands-on mentality.
The COO Finance COMET department, portfolio Contracting & Charging is performing tasks and responsibilities on behalf of the ING COO Finance and COO Risk organisation globally.
The execution of these tasks and responsibilities are listed in a Master Service Agreement with per legal entity a Statement of Services based on which regular meetings are held to review the Services delivered. As the contractual obligations are based on the EBA Sourcing Framework, several mandatory activities are to be performed to ensure full compliancy and transparency of the Services delivered.
For this position you need to be organizational sensitive, require people and project skills. Empathy and a positive mindset will help you align with your COO Finance & Risk colleagues and business partners.
The Team
As Consultant you will be part of the portfolio Contracting & Charging within the COO Finance COMET department, located in Amsterdam & Manila. You will act as a trusted partner of the 35+ ING Legal Entities and perform all contract and service management activities for COO Finance, the legal entities and other internal ING stakeholders.
Working with a variety of ING stakeholders globally in a multi-cultural environment will offer you a global overview on how ING manages up- & downstream contracts and provides the opportunity to support service delivery quality assurance of the COO Finance organization based on the ING
Sourcing Framework. The portfolio colleagues are based in Amsterdam and Manilla, in which you will Manilaorganisation report to the Expert Lead Operational Effectiveness & Compliance in Manilla.
Roles and responsibilities
As Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Communication and (service level) reporting towards our (internal) service receivers.
- Organize service review meetings with sourced and internal stakeholders, preparing minutes, chasing completion of agreed actions, and pro-actively work on identified improvements.
- Supporting the overall governance of contracts based on the ING Third and Intragroup Management Process framework including an up-to-date In Control of Services Portal.
- Risk management and DORA compliance like RCSA, TIA, BIA and Continuity Plan per Service in cooperation with global ODCR.
- Support financial management on the Dynamic Plan and Charging process in close alignment with our COO Finance and COO Risk financial controllers.
- Identity and optimize workflows to reduce overhead and manual work.

As a consultant you have the following traits and experience:
- University BSc Degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance and/or IT field;
- 4 - 8 years’ experience in Audit or Financial and/or Risk Management;
- Knowledge of and experience with internal contracts, Finance & IT Control Assessments and internal charging.
- Collaboration skills and ability to work across both functional and geographical lines;
- Pro-activeness and persuasiveness;
- Good analytical skills and sound judgment;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Knowledge of Banking business, processes, procedures and associated laws & regulations;
- Knowledge and experience in one or more Finance areas.
