We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our Belgian team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Sales, Operations, and Finance teams while ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout the customer journey.
The Role
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for qualifying leads, supporting sales processes, maintaining CRM data, and coordinating customer follow-up activities. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth project administration, accurate invoicing, and high customer satisfaction.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer interaction, administration, and commercial support in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
Qualify and follow up on inbound leads received via phone, email, and website enquiries.
Gather project information and create qualified opportunities in Salesforce.
Support the sales team by following up on open quotations and updating opportunity records.
Monitor project end dates and identify opportunities for contract extensions or new projects.
Ensure all won opportunities are fully documented and ready for operational handover.
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within Salesforce.
Customer Success & Account Support
Conduct customer satisfaction follow-up calls after project implementation.
Promote BauWatch digital services and customer applications.
Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
Coordinate complaint handling and ensure timely resolution.
Follow up on customer feedback and satisfaction surveys.
Administrative & Commercial Support
Support contract administration and project documentation.
Maintain pricing information and sales support materials.
Coordinate return requests and related logistics.
Process service requests and support invoicing activities.
Assist Finance with billing-related administration and customer communications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the first point of contact for internal operational support requests.
Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
Help ensure efficient communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous process improvements and service excellence.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is an advantage).
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused attitude.
Preferred
Experience in sales support, inside sales, customer service, or commercial administration.
Experience working in construction, security, technology, or B2B services environments.
