Job Responsibilities
The Manager Surveillance is responsible for the management of employees and daily operations of the surveillance department. Assist the Director of Surveillance with the day-to-day management of Resorts World New York City. Catskills (Primary) and Resorts World Hudson Valley (Shared Services).
Essential Duties/Core Competencies
- Creates schedules to meet staffing objectives and overall coverage required by gaming regulations
- Responsible for completing and reaching daily operations and department goals set by the company
- Ensure all employees are adhering to company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations
- Conduct, supervise and prepare reports relating to any incident that is reported
- Provide direction, training and supervision to employees
- Manage attendance and time records of employees
- Advise and implement any/all changes passed down from director
- Ensure effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout the departments
- Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success

Work/ Educational Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
- 2+ years’ experience in the casino surveillance field
- 2+ years of management/supervisory experience in the gaming industry required
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Must have computer knowledge
- Knowledge of all table games preferred
- Knowledge of casino operations and gaming operations required

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference. Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.

Pay Transparency: $95,000 - $120,000
