Location: Fully Remote (Ireland)

About Amden Group
At Amden Group, we partner with organisations across Ireland to help them improve how they operate, build stronger teams and deliver sustainable growth. Our services span operations, people, business growth and new business support, providing practical solutions that help organisations perform at their best.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for people who are organised, proactive and take pride in delivering an exceptional service. If you enjoy solving problems, communicating with people and making a real difference behind the scenes, you'll be joining a supportive team that values professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Role Purpose
This administrative role provides emergency scheduling support outside normal business hours to ensure continuity of care and operational service delivery for a key client.
Working scheduled 4-hour shifts on a rotating rota, you will coordinate emergency cover, communicate with employees and service users, maintain accurate scheduling records and escalate operational issues where required.
The role deals solely with emergency and same-day scheduling matters.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time, fully remote position operating on a planned rotational rota.
Unlike traditional on-call arrangements, team members work scheduled 4-hour shifts rather than remaining available for extended periods.
The rota includes weekday evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with shifts allocated fairly across the Team.
Flexibility to work a variety of scheduled shifts is essential.
All equipment and training will be provided.
What You'll Be Doing
- Answer incoming out-of-hours calls and assess urgent scheduling requests.
- Coordinate emergency staff cover and update the scheduling system.
- Keep employees and service users informed of changes and delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all calls and actions taken.
- Escalate operational issues where additional support is required.
- Deliver a professional, responsive and customer-focused service at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills with a confident telephone manner.
- Is highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Remains calm under pressure and can make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Is comfortable using IT systems and learning new software.
- Can work independently while maintaining a professional and confidential approach.
- Is reliable, proactive and committed to delivering an excellent service.
Previous experience in scheduling, rostering, healthcare, social care, customer service or a contact centre environment would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
What We Offer
- Fully remote working.
- Flexible 4-hour rotational shifts.
- Six-month fixed-term contract.
- Full induction and training.
- Company equipment provided.
- Ongoing support from an experienced management team.
- Opportunity to gain experience within a growing outsourced operations business.
- A collaborative and supportive working environment.
