Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all plumbing systems across the resort.
- Troubleshoot and repair water supply, drainage, sewage, and stormwater systems.
- Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, piping networks, valves, pumps, and water heaters.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen plumbing systems, grease traps, dishwashing equipment connections, and related infrastructure.
- Maintain residential-style plumbing systems within guest rooms, villas, and staff accommodations.
- Inspect, operate, and maintain sewage lifting stations, sump pumps, and associated control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on swimming pool circulation systems, filtration equipment, pumps, and water features.
- Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and guest-related maintenance requests.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and resort operating standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical Diploma or Certification in Plumbing, Mechanical Systems, or a related trade.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably within hotels, resorts, or large commercial facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Commercial and residential plumbing systems
- Sewage and drainage systems
- Lifting stations and sewage pumps
- Swimming pool circulation and filtration systems
- Water supply and distribution systems
- Commercial kitchen plumbing and grease management systems
- Pump maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read plumbing drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with water conservation practices and preventive maintenance programs.
